How a tree feels its environmental influences? Which influences are perceived positive or negative? Is it possible to measure these influences and clearly interpret them at all?
As part of an exhibition, which is accompanying the upcoming book release of the studio Neubau, an interactive exhibit “HTI” emerged. HTI (human-tree interaction) examines the exciting change of perspective between trees and humans. The environmental influences are captured in real time thru sensors which are applied to the tree and directly transmitted into the exhibition to a digital avatar of the tree. Thus the visitor is immersed in the environment of the tree and experiences its urban influences reinterpreted in an artistic exhibit.
