Mike Richter is a professor at the University of Applied Studies in Darmstadt focusing on media system design. One of his main topics is the »unified user interface« – how it can be derived from user understanding, and how it creates value for an organization. Before founding iconmobile, Mike started the strategy consulting practice at MetaDesign, and as a member of the management board was responsible for the competence center strategy/consulting for four years. Before joining the consulting business, Mike received a degree in Industrial Design studying in Germany, England and Denmark. He holds a Master’s degree from ID at Illinois Instituteof Technology Chicago. Being a native »Ulmer« Mike has »Design« in his blood. Occasionally this will show through when he comes near a flip chart and starts diagramming.
